Watched a video where Kame was promoting the Gokusen Movie as well as showing us audience some little snapshot of his moments in the movie. He'll be coming back as a teacher-in-training...

Kind of a weird feeling seeing him older, (fatter) and with shorter hair compare to when he acted in Gokusen II. Older is expected, and even kind of exciting. I mean, to return after all these times showing us a mature version of his character and some canon direction of what he had become after graduating.

But when you compare the image of him in Gokusen II and now, I kind of miss the Odagiri Ryu from Gokusen II; the thin face and shoulder length brown hair really suit him a lot more than the slight chipmunk cheeks and short wavy black hair now. (Of course, I'm talking about Kame-as-Odagiri Ryu)

You kind of expect him to be similar.

Ok, maybe just wistful hoping on my part to see him with shoulder length straight brown hair and slim cheeks again.
