Just finished Darker than Black Season 2, and for some reason it compel me to go back and rewatch Season 1 as well even though I couldn't really understand it entirely the first time I watched it...Not that I could this time, but I think I understood some stuff more?
But anyway, it totally made me much more interested than before.
The thing is, Season 2 is just too short; just a measle 12 episodes compared to 26 last time, awwww. And its promising as well, the ending prove that a Season 3 is highly possible lol.
JULYYYYYYY~ You're so adorable. And for once, the main female character for this series didn't really irked me. Suoh is totally okay although sometimes she does stupid things. But the way she like Hei was just too cute so I forgive her. And Hei! OMG, his hobo get-up, while interesting, doesn't suit him at all...And I was sad to see his power gone.
Though when he finally cleans himself up back to how he was in Season 1 it made him look better even more XD
And Mau as a rodent is totally ironic but cool haha. The ending, while not the best, is really good; more than what I can comment for 90% of anime series. It was touching, happy yet sad, completed yet continuing all at the same time.
The scene where Hei hugged Suoh from behind and where July runs up and hug Suoh was like totally, sooooo sweet and touching (because they are people who don't do hugs) but sad, cause it was farewell as well. Shion was probably the most tragic one at the same time, he loved Suoh so much and the last "Oneechan" that he whispered before he died is so ackkked. And while HeiXSuoh seems pretty impossible after the end, I have place my hope on JulyXSuoh! Though IF there will be a Season 3 they probably won't appear anymore anyway, being in a different world now.
