OMGGGGG, 11th May please come faster. On second thought, 13th May please come faster! (Book get published in Taiwan on the 11th, now that I'm ordering online, Fedex deliver in two days, so, 13th COME FASTER~)I'm totally nuts about this series now. Not only did it have the most awesome main character ever (in the way that everything about him suit my taste, from the way he look, his personality, characteristic, and all the way to how he talk and act and dress*) it always end the volume in a cliffhanger, which of course makes me yearn to read on.
The best and worst part is it update monthly without fail, so while you're happy there's a fix date for the next update, its agony waiting for the 4 weeks to pass. For other series it like, you'll never know when the next update will be so there's no point mooning for it and it will soon get thrown to the back of my head and I stop yearning (until the news about the update comes out of course)
The thing is, did you see the cover?! He's smiling! SMILING. Which is never seen before, EVER. He always frown due to all the troublesome things he get drag into and having to save the people around him however reluctantly. So after 20 volumes, 5 of which he's on the cover (3 solo, 2 co-existing with other ppl), we finally get to see how he look like when he smile!
But ok, if he always smile like an idiot maybe I won't have like him so much anymore...LOL
*Ok, why do I like the way he dress? I don't mean just the clothes he wears, but of course that's one of the main point. The thing is, he's covered from head to toe, from clothings to accessories to weapons and belongings, in TREASURE. Like, super valuable, useful, rare items that pwn everything else.
For example, I will explain only the clothes, which everyone can see from this cover. He's wearing 2 layers, one outer robe and one inner robe. The inner robe is like the ultimate treasure of clothing while the outer one is just rare and valuable, obviously not as much as the inner one and he uses it to cover up.
Outer robe: Made from the skin of some fire-creature so its fireproof and un-burnable, in fact, burning it cleans it.
Inner robe: Made from some super rare material, super thin and weightless, fireproof AND waterproof, as well as ice-proof. Keeps you warm in the cold and keeps you cool in the hot, un-damageable (repairs itself immediately with any wear or tear), keeps wounds closed and stop all bleeding.
