Quite busy recently in the sense that I was almost visiting some place or another after work and before I go home. Spending money T.T
Lacking sleep recently too, because I don't have enough time after reaching home YET still have plenty of things I wanna do, like rewatch Gundam Seed after hearing how they are planning to celebrate it's 10th year anniversary with a reanimation of the anime (same story, same everything except in HD) and also rewatch HunterXHunter after the remake (a new anime adapted from same manga) of its anime started airing last week.
I will be looking forward to HD Gundam Seed and hopefully they won't change the story like they said they would not, on top of getting back the same seiyuu. (Kira's voice is soooooo much love)
And while we are on the topic, allow me to complain.
THEY CHANGED ALL THE SEIYUU FOR HUNTERXHUNTER REMAKE
I had loved Killua's voice, Hisoka's voice, Feitan's voice, Kuroro's voice, Irumi's voice. And thought that Gon, Kurapika and Leorio's voice suited them.
As of now there's only 2 episode of the remake and only Gon, Kurapika and Leorio made their appearance. Gon has a less childish/naive voice but still passable, Leorio's voice is weird on him and Kurapika....sounds like a girl. Like, not a girly boy, but really a girl. The seiyuu did not put any attempt in lowering her voice at all. So it's like just listening and without seeing, you'll really think its a soft spoken girl speaking. Which is urgh, because as girly as Kurapika is, he's a boy =.= and with the last seiyuu you can tell.
Hisoka has not made his appearance yet, but the seiyuu listing had already been out, so I know who his seiyuu is. No longer the same guy (who was totally awesome and did a magnificent job).
It is now Namikawa Daisuke.
I love this guy and his equally awesome voice too, seriously speaking. Notable roles he did in the past: Fai (Tsubasa Chronicles); Ulquiorra (Bleach)
Like, wth???!!!
What is the most significant thing about Hisoka's voice? The perverseness!
So now I'm getting imaginations of getting stuck with something like an image of pervertic Fai or pervertic Ulquiorra whenever I hear Hisoka's voice.
Hope not.
Urgh.
On a side note, the new remake of HunterXHunter, episode 1 covered episode 1-3 of the old anime, and episode 2 covered episode 4-6 of the old anime.
So is it right of us fan to start assuming that as the pattern, and expect a 26-eps season of Hunter Remake?
There was about 61 episodes in the old anime not counting the OVAs, so it's like.....20 episodes to cover the old anime, and another extra 6 to cover the OVAs?
Which leave them free to continue the Ant Arc in a new season like a new story not done before.
Most likely to be completed in another 26 episodes, if that's the number the first part going to have.
Hope notttttttt. I want more.
Fairy Tail has about 100 eps now, D Gray man had 102. Naruto and Bleach is probably hitting 500 soon, so Hunter can't be that short. Except I don't want there to be any fillers for this series. Fillers always suck.
